Description
This Art Deco Alfa Romeo Le Mans poster, a variation on the daytime poster here, features the 1931 8C 2300, considered by many to be one of the greatest cars in motor racing history. It was designed by Vittorio Jano who had recently been poached from Fiat by the legendary Alfa boss Enzo Ferrari. This beautiful new Alfa Romeo, powered by an 8 cylinder 2.3-litre engine, replaced the 6C 1750 and soon came to dominate endurance racing taking first place at Le Mans every year from 1931 to 1934.
