Description
The 1941 Cadillac Series 62 poster, features the beautiful convertible coupe which was designed by Cadillac’s chief designer Bill Mitchell. It is one of the most desired of all Cadillacs, as very few of the 3,100 manufactured remain today, and because it is one of the last pre-war Cadillac convertibles ever built. The US entered World War II on December 8, just hours after the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbour, forcing an industry-wide conversion to the manufacture of war materials. General Motors halted automobile production altogether on February 4, 1942.
