Bugatti gallery archive displays our poster designs featuring the famous pre-war Bugatti racing cars created by Ettore Bugatti in his factory at Molsheim. These beautiful vehicles were described by Ettore as ‘Le pur sang des automobiles’ (the pure blood or thoroughbred). They were hugely successful in all the major European motor races of the nineteen twenties and thirties.

So the posters include celebrations of victories in the 1921 Italian Grand Prix won by a 1921 Type 13. Also featured is Achille Varzi’s famous win by the Type 51 at the Monaco Grand Prix in 1933. And there are more graphic compositions like the Type 23 Brescia, and the famous grille of the Grand Sport.

Also featured is the Pur Sang Des Automobiles poster.
