This Victorian style spoof poster celebrates some of the delightfully daft words in the English language, using a few pompous ‘small ads’ as illustrations and to give the words some context. The original idea for Foul Words came from a game my friends and I played at work in a London art studio during the occasional quiet period. The words are even funnier when spoken out loud, and the poster would make a fine addition to any small room in the house.
This is an original poster designed and illustrated by Bill Philpot.
